Ambur James was born and raised on the East side of Indianapolis and had 3 siblings.  From an early age her friends and family knew she was destined to be an entertainer. Her first performance was at a family talent show where she was the hit of the show and she’s been in the spotlight ever since.  In addition to comedy, Ambur enjoys home decorating and is also a licensed cosmetologist. Her mom, who has worked at the post office for over 30 years, is her hero and taught her that hard work pays off. Single moms are a strong passion of hers and she has plans to contribute to uplifting them in her future.
